The Maintenance track and pit is used for overhauls of locmotives and other planned work. As the locomotive serviced on this track is out of service for repairs, the track is not equipped with a smokejack to carry away the smoke from a hot locomotive. Generally only repairs on the running gear was performed here, while boiler repairs were performed in the Roundhouse. The track is long enough to accomodate any of the EBT's mickado locomotives.

As with the hospital track, this track is serviced by the Transvers Jack for removing and reinstalling wheelsets.
