Robertsdale Wye

This wye replaced a small turntable from 1873 as a turning station. The wye is unique in that its east switch frog is atop a bridge over Trough Creek. This is the southmost turning facility on the line, so locomotives had to run backward to or from Alvan and Woodvale.

The wye is still in place, though the east tail has been shortened by half.
