This is the location where coal for the boilers was stockpiled. A Conveyor was used to load the bin from a hopper on the adhacent track. The coal bin operated like an oversized locomotive tender, with the coal piled high inside and held back by a series of boads across the entrance.
Into the late 1990's the coal bin roof become very deteriorated and let most of the water into the building. The FEBT restoration crew restored the Coal Bin 2005-2006.
