The three open forges in the Blacksmiths Shop require a ready supply of air to supply oxygen to the fire. This blower supplies that air to Blacksmith's Forges one, two and a High Temperature Forge through an underground pipe about six inches in diameter. The blower is powered by a leather belt off one of the Machine Shop overhead shafts. The blower is a centrifical fan about two feet in diameter and is housed in a tall enclosure on the side of the Machine Shop north wall.
