After having been impressed by the performance of #3, the EBT ordered two more, #4 and #5 of identical design in March 1874. No photos of #5 have yet surfaced, so it is unknown if she received a stright stack as #3 and #4 did.
#5 was a locomotive of little note on the EBT. She seemed to have been involved in no major wrecks or other incidents and only notes of her purchase and retirement have been found.
#5 was retired in 1895, her disposition not known. She was likely scrapped.
