First excursion train returns to
Orbisonia Depot after reversing on
the wye. Engine #15 on point.
Engine #15 at the grade crossing next to the depot.
Observation car "Orbisonia" #20 brings up the rear.
Alan Woolf standing in front of Engine #15 as it awaits departure with
the second excursion train.
Detail of Engine #15 during blowdown (a.k.a. "Still Life, With Oilcan").
You can darn near read the Westinghouse label on the air compressor here!
(grin)
The excursion train goes under the
single overpass.
(I rode the open observation car, to get better views and a facefull of
soot. The bridge has also seen its share of soot over the years---you
can barely make out the railroad letters!)
The train returns to Orbisonia Depot,
here backing around the Rockhill
Wye.
