This unit is an original EBT unit which was purchaced secondhand and restored by Railways to Yesterday member Phil Raynes. It is a Faimont model ST-2 and is nearly identical to the Fairmont on the property, except that it lacks the EBT-made side panels and doors.
This car is not kept on the EBT property and is transported by Mr. Raynes for use on various narrow gauge lines. It visited the EBT during the 1999 Fall Spectacular for test runs and is expected to return in the future. It also spends a lot of time at the Doe River Gorge, a reconstruction of part of the Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina Railroad, the EBT's sister railroad.
